Danie is an operations and project professional with over 10 years of experience working in education, not-for-profit, and start-up environments. They have a passion for supporting teams, leading operational and workflow improvement initiatives, and managing both programs and projects. Danie believes in the importance of collective visioning, where solutions are generated through collaboration and co-creation, and subscribes to the “Nothing about us without us” mindset. 

Danie graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) with a degree in English Literature and holds certificates in Creative Writing from MUN and Project Management from the University of Toronto. They are a strong advocate of continuous learning and open education and will often take courses through online platforms ‘for the fun of it!’. 

At Grantbook Danie is a Philanthropy Technology Project Manager and supports clients to implement meaningful solutions within the grantmaking space. In their time off they enjoy reading, video games, crafting, gardening, and being in nature.
