At Grantbook Munirah works with the Strategy and Design team helping clients with strategy and process (re)design. This involves developing a design strategy framework which contributes to improved client relationships and better user experiences, and aligns initiatives with business results. 

Munirah has garnered experience from different sectors over the span of 8 years. Prior to joining Grantbook, she was the Programme Associate Special Projects for the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, providing strategic leadership, management, and guidance to the Foundation's community leadership, strategic initiatives, and impact efforts through grantmaking, programs, and donor engagement efforts.

She began her career in nonprofits with a volunteer position at the National Human Rights Commission in Plateau State in 2017, where she was primarily responsible for receiving, investigating and conciliating complaints received from the public, concerning allegations of violations of the Nigerian Human Rights Commission Act.  She soon moved on to Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), where she worked for over two years, promoting their mission to be the catalyst that elevates the status of women and their contribution to Nation building. Munirah organized and implemented gender-led initiatives that inspired and empowered women to attain leadership positions.    

At the start of 2021, following her brief stint with Public Relations for Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), Munirah returned to philanthropy, where she helped with Capacity Building for Public Servants as well as the purchase and implementation of an Enterprise Content Management Solution for the Office of the Head of the Civil Service. 

Munirah Ameh received her BSc. in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University and an MA. in Conflict resolution from Lancaster University, Lancaster, United Kingdom. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators UK.
